Hype

I’m not sure how many are following the adventures of Jr vs me.

But after that stayover, which left me with about an hour or two of sleep, it’s decided that she’s better downstairs. Or she decided herself the following morning. She did enjoy herself, and being nocturnal, constantly purred when she got bored through the night. As I sat by the PC following up on things on the internet (and keeping her company), she basically sat at beside my chair, and relaxed.

I don’t know what came into me to consent to m’s idea of buying cat litter, cat shampoo and such (they set me back another 50 bucks at least), but it was worth the while. m and I had a easier than expected time latherin Jr up in my bathroom, and giving her that rinse. None of us received the wrong end of her claws.

And it was more gratifying seeing her using the litter to do her big and small business the following morning. Apparently she realised the whole house didn’t have a suitable surface for her to relieve herself, other than the litter.

But at the end of the day, one thing didn’t escape our attention: her freedom. She was more free roaming the flats, than being cooped up in my little house. My mom isn’t too keen of me relocating her with me back to their place. So we’re back to the usual dinner feeding schedule. Tonight she has placed herself at our void deck, for reasons only known to herself.

Anyone looking for some entertainment should check out this entry by Galvin Tan (thanks Sting). A real gem of a hokkien song.

What would I do if I had a million? Make 2 with it, I guess. And then take a part of it, and do some charity stuffs. Speaking of charity work, anyone free on 4th September can do some volunteer work at Cancer Children’s Foundation’s Tulip Hearts Day. I hope I can have some time off from work to help EVC and the other vanning forums sell silk-made tulips.

As for the recent blog hype, surrounding that topless back girl (sorry, I don’t know her name), SPG or even xiaxue, it goes to show how we have looked at all the bloggers and blogs in a lopsided way. Given the exposure (justified or otherwise), most of them have not lived up to their names in terms of substance. The blogger conference didn’t really have anything to show for either.

The blog conference brought up another question: do we really need the computer to have a life? Sheesh. Where have all the socialising/integration gone?

Anyway, it kinda explains why I write less these days. Less substance = less entries = less backlash.
